Marilyan Space Wizards
I am developing a sci-fi fantasy side-scrolling platform game with a heavy focus on gravity mechanics.
Initially, I focused on designing and illustrating the playable character, Walter. The objective was to create an endearing, slightly quirky elderly wizard who would serve as a foundation for further variations featuring diverse costumes and hairstyles.

Once the final design was agreed upon by the team, the next stage was creating a low-poly 3D mesh for the character that would allow for a wide range of motion and cartoonish animation. The character was then rigged and ready for export to Unity.
Below is a WIP character blockout for the game's main antagonist, along with his concept design.
To visualise how the character will eventually look in-game within environments, I composited renders onto environments that represent the style of planets the player will be able to explore in the game.
